VOLUME ONE
So, when I originally signed up for this I thought this was a 18 person cast lmao. I absolutely HATE 21 person casts, but since you guys are implementing the no cross tribal communication rule, I love it. It's way better than having to communicate with 20 other people at one time. Too hectic for me. Things got started yesterday around 9 PM. We were informed of our first twist; BvBvB. This is very interesting immediately. You can assume that the Brawn tribe will be your physical beasts, aka the ones who'll go 24 hours in an Endurance competition. The Brains (REPRESENT!) are probably the people who constantly over-strategize and think they know it all. And yes, that includes me lmao. The Beauty tribe are probably social juggernauts. I'd like to think I'm a Brain/Beauty hybrid, because while I *believe* I possess key analytical skills, I love interacting with people and I tend to form genuine bonds, which I plan on doing this game. If anyone asks, I'm a 19 year old college student at the University of Virginia studying Early Childhood Education. I want to be a teacher because I LOVE kids and they're so adorable! So that's what I'll be using to hide my alias.
So last night we were told all three tribes would have to vote someone out, which didn't sound bad at all to me. Sandra hasn't made an AIM nor has she attempted to communicate with any of us, so it's safe to assume that she'll be the individual leaving from our tribe. Woot, no first boot for me! Once everyone got settled into the camp, the generic, "Hi how are you?" questions arose. After a while, I became comfortable with a few people. Rodney particularly. We began talking about sports and we're both Steelers fans, so that kinda formed a bond between us. We discussed the SuperBowl and how we both wanted New England to lose. Another person I ignited a spark with was Erik. I stayed up until like 2 AM last night (the amazing~ host Julie was helping me make a banner BUT THEN SHE LITERALLY FELL ASLEEP ON ME. HOW RUDE.) so he and I were both online and chatted and we actually had a very good time. He suggested we have a deal where we watch each other's backs for the next couple of weeks, and maybe it can form into something larger. In these games, I try to not be the one who pushes for alliances. I try my hardest to talk with the person, show them some of my southern charm, and get them to genuinely trust and like me, which will then prompt them to be lured into working with me. I think that's what happened last night. I enjoyed our convo, so yeah. Earlier he was giving me some suggestions of movies to watch. I feel bad because I didn't watch a single of them lmao. Ken and I talked a good bit, but I found him VERY sketchy. His AIM is Survivorfaplayer and that is NOT an alias AIM, and I did my research and Survivor FA is a Yuku based game (which Nav played in HI NAV. HI SASH. HI HOST WES. HI BOBBY JON. HI EVERYBODY~) I didn't care enough to try to find out who he was in it, because that's just lame. Then he goes into our tribe chat asking how do ORG challenges work... Chill with the gimmick. I SEE RIGHT THROUGH YOU. Natalie was rather quiet. We had that painfully awful conversation that you have to go through in the beginning of ORGs. She didn't seem very interested in talking, and she never replied to me. Oh well. Ciera seems a little busy for the time being. She told me she'll be on after work so hopefully that gives me the opportunity to speak with her, gotta develop those key relationships.
So, our boot should be Sandra providing nothing catastrophic occurs. Afterwards we have a live challenge which will be VERY interesting because it'll show if we have some weak links on the tribe. It's key to be online during this challenge, so you can count on Shirin being here! I'm intrigued to see whether it'll be 1 tribe or two tribes attending tribal. If it's two, then we maybe can expect to swap into two tribes of 8 soon, which would definitely suck because I like this 3 tribe format, especially with that no cross tribal communication rule. I feel like if we were the ones going to tribal, I would be safe because I've been pretty active and I have that deal with Erik, and I'm hoping he lives up to it because I will. I'm a pretty loyal player. Will that come to bite me in the ass? We'll find out.
Also, I saw a secret location board in my tribe camp. I was going to type in the first, last, and firstlast name of each Survivor, but that's lame and that'd take me probably about 4 hours and that'd just be a waste of time lmao. I'll wait until we get a clue or something regarding what it is, and what's inside. I'm PRAYING we don't have a fake merge like last season had lmao.
