Not sure if I'm supposed to wait for you to create a thread or just make my own but w/e. Anyways just to through so points.
Who Am I?
I'm just a 20 year old from California that's a community college, undeclared major.
I joined this because I'm bored. Nothing else important there.
Why did you pick Ken as your icon?
I picked someone obscure so peoples opinion of me isn't biased by my icon (I remember during the challenge people weren't taking Rodney as seriously they probably should have, because, at least on a subconscious level, people don't him take him seriously due to associating him with Rodney the survivor. This could be crazy talk but in a game of itches like survivor I wanted to take advantage of every little benefit as much as possible.
What were your thoughts on the twists?
Okay so I'll do these one by one
Brain vs. Beauty vs. Brawn: It's gimmicky and I have to imagine that the organization of these was largely arbitrary in order to get the needed number in each tribe. However it makes me feel slightly paranoid that everyone in my tribe is vindictive towards my demise. Honestly I think it would have been funner if it was divided off the character.
The fake vote-off: First good job making us think it was real vote off, I kind of bought considering that these games always have a few inactives, and 21 seems like an odd number that would be tough to squeeze in the given time. Though I theorized it might have just a tribe swap involving the three people voted off (note to self if I ever make a survivor ORG put that on the list of twist ideas)
Giving them advantage in challenge versus "mysterious location" a.k.a. "totally not an idol guyzz": I think this is a mistake because ORGs should always expect inactives so making the first boot make a decision can always backfire like this and it's annoying that since our first vote off didn't show up we (along with the brain tribe) lost either a chance to get an idol clue of the voted off person or an advantage in a challenge.
What are your thoughts on your tribe?
In general it's a cooperative group no conflicts between us. Personal Interactions One by One (Also have an image in my head of what I think they all look like, just so you can laugh at me when they already turn out to be completely wrong):
Rodney: Seems like a nice enough guy, I've already talk to him about the fact that I tried to search announcements and stuff for coded hints and stuff basically to find a hint to the idol, so we're already defacto working together, probably the person I've chatted to most. Also his idea of basically not doing anything for a while in the challenge worked surprisingly well, and while it didn't work if it wasn't for Hali calling us out it would have work.
What I imagine him looking like: For some reason I imagine him as a black male in a early 20s.
Erik: Again seems like a nice enough guy, probably either him or Shirin are the person I've talk to the second most one-on-one, seems a bit like a joker during the challenge so he seems fun.
What I imagine him looking like: A short skinny white 19 year old (He told me he's 19)
Shirin: Either her or Erik is the person I've talk one on one the second most, seems nice, kind of a more sweet personality from what I can tell.
What I imagine her looking like: Since she told about her interesting in sports and her laziness I for some reason imagine her being an overweight male in a sports jersery
Natalie: I've probably talked to her the third least out of everybody, the little I've talked to her seems nice though the "my werd" joke isn't really funny
Have no image for her yet, though probably white female
Cierra: In terms of one on one she the second least I've talked one on one
Image: Basic Brown hair teenage girl.
Sandra: Hasn't shown up at all obviously going home
The Challenge
The Challenge was surprisingly fun, it took a while the three person dynamtic made it interesting unfortunately the fact that we were attacked first and ganged up on made it difficult but the tribe collectively bargaining with a side and team work really surprised me. The other tribes were interesting, no real impression of the other tribes could really be strongly be said but what I saw: Candice was annoying and seemed kind of bitchy but it could be competitive talk getting in the way so I'm not gonna hold that TOO much against her. Colby doesn't seem like he's really with his tribe in terms and more doing his own thing, RC seems completely inactive, and Rob is either a sudo-inactive or just busy that day, Angie seemed petty and vengeful, Hali didn't seem cooperative really with her tribe but she seems like she's decently observant which might be worrisome long term, no one else really gave me much to work with to judge off of.
I think that while our game wasn't perfect (I REALLY shouldn't have attacked Alex and just beauty head on at that point, also forgetting to spear/coconut was silly on my part), we did a decent job for being ganged up on the beginning and I'm proud of our tribe for being second, even though all that means is that Sandra is technically the second boot.
The Vote Off
The tribe hasn't even bothered really discussed too heavily who to vote off, voting off Sandra is incredibly obvious to do right now, it's almost certain she's gone and I'm guessing Brawn getting rid of RC again. Before the first vote-off we all talked in and one chat and basically all agreed one on one that we need to get rid of Sandra because no one else makes sense.
It'll royally suck if we have vote off someone else, I'm leaning towards Ciera or Natalie if we have to but I'd prefer to avoid losing because I don't really want to get rid of any of them, that and besides everyone else can be plotting my demise behind my back for all I know.
Any ways it's kind of lucky the two tribes that lost the challenge are the ones that have true inactives, that means this round is just an exercise in cleaning out the corpses.
