An Unexpected Twist that Came Expectedly.

Candice's proposal (I would be loyal to you for the rest of the game, yadda yadda yadda) was nothing that I didn't already have, and I would need to stick my neck WAY out in order to save her, so I had to let her go. Damn.

But mow, another switch! It kinda sucks that there's not a whole lot of new people on my tribe to expand my empire so to speak, but I'm set up in a really, really good position right now with plenty of options. I can form a voting block with Spencer, Mike, Ciera, and myself. I can stick with the old brains tribe. I can go rogue and join the beauties if I really wanted to. But I have tons of options, and when you have options before the merge, you're in a great position.

Parvati kinda lived up to the hype. She's a hilarious person, and I wouldn't be surprised if she was on all stars just based on her character and personality. But she didn't flirt with me much in private messages. Kinda let me down knowing the man behind the mask. But, she's still funny, and I think I might be able to get her and Spencer more on my side if I took out Mike. Granted, that could definitely backfire and make them resent me, but I've had a pretty good social presence so far, I think.

Alex, before the tribe's were totally switched, let me know that he's still willing to work with me down the line, and it sounds like there's an alliance brewing with Rodney and the Brawns. It's probably to save his own ass, and I totally get that. But hopefully they target Andrea before Angie, just so that I can have a loyal ally at the merge as I start whipping our the big guns and aiming them at any threat that I can point them at. Chances are, at the merge, when me and Rodney get back together, we can sort things out and figure out the best game plan for us, and maybe string in a strong third, like Ciera, Angie, Shirin, or Natalie. I already have a three pact with Natalie and Rodney, but I'm not sure about how long that might last.

Right now, I think that I'm in the best position that I can be in right now. I got tons of connections, quite a few strong, and hopefully loyal, allies, and a great position to start moving the puzzle pieces into the right spots.

My tribe would be smart to get rid of me right now! But I don't think they will just yet. I think the season of blindsides is just around the corner, with me as the show's director and producer, Rodney as the main actor, Angie as the costume designer, and a bunch of guest stars that I can't wait to contact! Oh man, it will be a GREAT season.

Can I switch my player to Denise? I feel like that's more fitting now.

Anyways, I'm honestly not sure what to do this tribal. But I have options! That's what is most important right now.

I don't want to vote off Ciera. That's the first thing. Natalie and Shirin? They're kind of interchangeable to me at this point. I made promises to them before the first swap, they both haven't talked much since I came back, blah blah blah. I think that the best course of action is to take out a beauty though.

I just can't figure out which one.

Right now, my mind is on Mike. I don't trust him very much, and it seems like he is just like, "Just tell me what to do." Which, short term, great. But it just seems so disingenuous. It seems really artificial to me to just offer your allegiance without earning trust first.

We could go for Parvati, that would probably be the easiest to get people behind. Plus she could easily charm her way onto either side of alliances. But I don't want to get rid of her. I think she could be a good person to have in my back pocket in the future.

The most bold move would be to vote Spencer. It could very well make Mike and Parvati more attached to me. He's a pretty big threat down the line too. But I like him. I don't want to vote for him. But it might make strategic sense to vote for him.

I'm stuck for now. But there's still 20 hours left.

So, why I (we) came to Spencer.

He's a strategic threat long term. I know what you're thinking: "Erik, why would you get rid of strategic threats before the merge!" Well, I'll tell you why. It gives me a lot more sway. I told Parvati that we were voting Spencer, and that she can too if she wants, or that she can still vote Ciera and maintain her cover, and it was up to her. I figured that divulging that info shouldn't matter in theory. We would have the numbers anyway and it would only get her to trust me more. Then she tells me that the beauties were voting for Ciera! So had we gone with Spencer's plan to vote Shirin, we would have gotten massively played, I would have alienated my remaining brains, and I would go from towards the top and rocket straight towards the bottom in a spectacular nosedive. Maybe Parv wasn't telling the truth, but I guess we will find out soon enough.

Why not Parvati? She could be a loyal ally, stupid! Duh! Why else? Plus I legitimately like talking with her. She's funny and as cool as dry ice.

Why not Mike? Because I think after this vote, I need to take out a brain with Ciera and Mike and Parv to show that it's not Brains or Die for me. I could use Spencer for that, but clearly, he's thinking ahead and making moves by this point, plus Mike may very well cling to me after I vote out his BFF. But maybe not. Either way, I'll be laughing my ass off. It's gon' start get'n jewcy from here, y'all!

I gotta make sure to keep my power in this game dumbed down. Because right now, I think I hold a lot of cards, and I do not want to bust out just yet! This is the first time in a game where I legitimately think I can make some power moves and risks and see them pay off! Oh, it will be DELICIOUS watching this play out, like the world's finest gourmet steak, or a 23 year old bottle of white wine, or a whopper with cheese from Burger King. Ugh, this game is going to be fun.
