Andrea's opening statement, which I didn't bother reading til now, more or less guarantees I won't be voting for her. She's all "I could never trust Parv because our strategy talks went nowhere."
UMM they went nowhere because you're the most boring fucking person alive. EVERY talk with Andrea went nowhere, because she'd take about twenty minutes to respond with a two-word reply. It was like playing chess by mail, but without all of the excitement.
So now it's basically down to Mike or Rodney for the seduction portion of the competition, which is really too bad because I would have been down for some hot lesbian action. Well, only sort of hot. Andrea's kind of fugly.

Anyone else annoyed that Rodney says that he always had so much control and shit, even though he handed control to Andrea for the last three rounds... Maybe I'm just not listening, but I REALLY want to hear Andrea's side of the story, ease I think that is a gross overexaggeration. He played a good game, but it seems like he's giving himself two pats on the back rather than the one that he deserves.

Andrea really refuses to take credit for how strong her game was at the end, which leads me to believe she didn't really intend to do it somehow? Like she just kind of expected it to happen and it somehow did. It's very bizarre to me. Rodney's putting in a ton of effort into the questions, and even though he handed her the power at the end, she only had that power because she had idols and 23423423 other powers from that fucking auction. I'm sorry, she used the powers wonderfully, but her success in the game SOLELY comes down to her powers. Without them, Rodney wouldn't have been forced into voting me out, and potentially would have waited to ice Erik a bit later too. I can't fault him for being bullied into that.

I mean, he said that he wouldn't have betrayed Andrea if she didn't have any powers, but it definitely made her game a lot easier due to her extreme amount of luck at the auction.
I really wish Andrea would jump on and give Rodney a run for his money. If I had to vote right now, Rodney wins, hands down. But I really want Andrea to actually try and throw down some sweet answers.

I really wish Andrea would jump on and give Rodney a run for his money. I think you have Andrea confused with someone who could actually... like... do that.

I mean, he said that he wouldn't have betrayed Andrea if she didn't have any powers I think you also have to consider the corollary to statements like this. Let's say we're talking about Parvati and Amanda. Just because Parvati will not betray Amanda does not mean that Amanda controls Parvati. If Parvati knows all along that she'll kick Amanda's ass at the final TC because, say, Amanda is less interesting than the small print on a tube of toothpaste, then Parvati has no good reason (aside from sportsmanship, which... lol) to betray Amanda at any point in the game, so long as Amanda doesn't give her one. Amanda, on the other hand, might consider betraying Parvati to increase her own odds of victory. In this scenario, Parvati is still the superior player, even though she would never betray Amanda and Amanda might betray her. Loyalty doesn't make you weak, as long as you're playing a good enough game to beat the people you're loyal to. (Perfect example of this - Chelsea and Kim in One World. Kim knew Chelsea was a potential FTC threat, but took her anyway because she was pretty confident she could kick Chelsea's ass regardless). I can't pretend to know what Rodney's decision-making criteria was for keeping Andrea around, but imo there's no good reason why he'd betray her if he was confident he could beat her, so I don't see Andrea as controlling him in this situation.

I mean, maybe in his mind he thinks that he can beat her. But damn, I'd try my hardest regardless. I'd see it like if I was Russell for the FIC in HvV. If Parvati didn't win, I would have voted her out, you know? I guess I shouldn't be so hard on why they played the game they wanted to. Sometimes I can't get over my answer enough to see their side of the equation, even if I do try my hardest to view things objectively.
