Hi Guys! It's great to see you again.
I think I should start off by thanking Julie for hosting a great org. You did a fantastic job and I speak for all of us when we say we appreciate everything you do. You took so much time out of your life to make this game as awesome as it was. I never in a million years expected to make it to final tribal council. I didn't have high expectations for myself. I have only played two games prior to this, and one of them I got out before the merge. In those games I let other people make decisions for me, and in this game I decided to play it completely different. I had to try to play this game cutthroat but that is easier said than done. I got to know people, and enjoyed the company of others, making it ten times harder to backstab them. Everyone was thirsty for a win, and I saw the passion in every single person.
At the Beginning of this game I wanted to play very under the radar. If people forgot I was in the game then it was less likely for them to want me out. I had the luxury of winning a lot of the competitions early on. I only attended one tribal council before the merge. Since I didn't have to be strategizing 24/7 I was able to spend my time socializing with people. The first person I trusted in this game was Mike. I was in an alliance with Mike since Day 1. The second person I trusted in this game was Rodney. Rodney became more than an ally to me in this game. We connected on a personal level, and I know he is going to be a friend long after this game. For personal and strategic reasons, I needed Rodney in this game with me. Before the merge I also has some really good talks with people like Courtney, Shirin, Ciera, and Natalie. I knew going into a merge I would not be an instant target.
Come the merge I think I had myself in a good position. The first round of the merge was the Brain/Brawn vs Beauty. I had connections on the brain side so I knew that I was safe that round. Parvati was a huge threat for my game because I could always tell she didn't trust me fully. Parvati showed me how smart she was on the original Saluma. I don't think Parvati was directly after me, but our game talk never went anywhere, and I think it was because we were both skeptical of each other. During the auction that round I got extremely lucky. I won a double vote and an hidden immunity idol. Some of you are probably thinking it's only luck that I won those items and got it, but there was also strategy involved on when to use and who to vote out with them. I will explain that later. The next round Brains and Brawn turn on each other and both sides want my vote. I didn't have the personal connections with most of the Brawns so I made the decision to not vote with them, and vote out Alex. Alex is somebody due to circumstances of never being on a tribe together I never got to connect with. Part of it is my fault but mostly because we never got to speak until halfway through the game. The Shirin vote is where I finally decided to step out from under the radar and show people I was ready to play the game. I originally planned to lay low, but people wanted to flip stuff last second. The plan was to originally vote out Angie. Shirin wanted to flip to the Brawn last minute. Lucky for me Angie tried to call out that I was in the brain chat. I knew that somebody was trying to flip. To secure that the Brawn/beauty alliance trusted me I switched my vote to Shirin. I knew Mike and Colby locked in Shirin. If I didn't switch my vote, Rodney would have been voted out and I would have lost somebody who would never turn on me. Rodney thinks he is going home when it ties. Natalie is pissed thinking I betrayed her. The brawn love me for thinking I am with them. I successfully calmed down Natalie and made sure nobody was going to switch their votes. When the brains were all locked in, I talked to Mike, and made a deal with me him and Rodney. With Mike joining us we gained Majority for the rest of the game. Angie and Courtney are openly upset that I betrayed them. What they didn't understand is that I was planning the rest of the game in my head. All the brains wanted the brawns out. When Angie and Courtney left it would be down to final 7. With my powers and my final three alliance, I had the power to control the last part of the merge. I followed that plan, eliminating Angie and Courtney respectively. At final 7 I knew it was the time to strike against Erik. Erik would have won this game if he was sitting here today. Erik was great funny guy, and no one had a bad thing to say about him. Rodney didn't want me to go against Erik but it was showtime. The first part of getting Erik out was making sure he didn't win Immunity. After that I had to make sure Rodney would vote for him. I kept planting the seed in Rodney's head that Erik needed to go. Rodney agreed and we successfully got out the biggest threat to win this game. At final 6 Ciera was the easy target to get out because she was never here to talk to people due to college starting. Final 5 was the round I wanted to get Natalie out. Natalie was the only person who stood in the way of me potentially getting votes in the finale. Natalie played a perfect middle of the road game. She was always in the majority up until the final 5. Rodney didn't want to vote Natalie out, but in the end I had to make him to secure that our final three would make it to the end. In the end we got Natalie out. At final four my only task was to win Immunity. When I did that I voted out the last person who wasn't in the alliance.
I tried to keep this short but I feel like it got long. I think I deserve your vote to win because I played the best game I could to get to the end. I won 6 immunities and never had a vote cast against me at any tribal council. I built connections with the right people, and did anything it took to get here. I look forward to all your questions.
